My Mountains, My Identity" — An online language and cultural preservation series.
This is our most active and substantial digital initiative. We have built a dedicated online community focused on promoting the Kumauni, Garhwali, and Jaunsari languages among the younger generation.
Myor Pahad Myar Pachhyan is an online cultural conversation series created to promote Kumauni and other languages of Uttarakhand, particularly among the younger generation. Through live discussions and interviews, the programme has documented the experiences and creative journeys of folk artists, historians, writers, scientists, athletes, social activists and many other inspiring personalities. These conversations form a valuable audio-visual record of contemporary Uttarakhand.
Organized as live discussions broadcasted across YouTube and Facebook, panel members discuss pressing cultural issues, language preservation strategies, and historical deep dives.
We invite folk artists, historians, writers, scientists, athletes, and social activists to share their experiences. To date, we have conducted over 300+ interviews.
Conversations and interviews with distinguished personalities of Uttarakhand, conducted in the Kumauni language.
A Kumauni panel discussion dedicated to remembering and exploring the life, work and legacy of a departed legendary personality.
A bilingual conversation or interview in which Kumauni is paired with another regional language, such as Garhwali, Nepali, Jaunsari or others.
